This is a very scarce surviving copy of "Easy Lessons in Modern Irish," 1902, Part 1, wrote by my Granda 120 years ago in the Gaelic language revival period. This book was commissioned for use in national schools and St Columbs College Derry City and his weekly lessons were printed weekly in Derry People Donegal news, the Ulster and Fermanagh Heralds etc., and Derry People first edition March 1903 onwards. Also from 1931 to 1943 until he died his Irish lessons "Are You Learning Irish ?" was printed weekly in the Derry Journal. The Thirchonnail series had three parts in total. I hope to get this reprinted to preserve for the future.
