Icelanders, the Irish and the Vikings

Before the Vikings arrived in Iceland the country had been inhabited by Irish monks. Gaelic Irish influence from the ninth century not in doubt
Whatever about the uncertainties surrounding the Irish arrivals of the eighth century, their pivotal presence in the ninth century is beyond question.

The presence of Celts among the first arrivals in Iceland is confirmed by numerous written references in both the Book of Settlements and the Book of Icelanders. In the former is found a comprehensive list of 400 names, of which at least 60 are distinctly Celtic.

There are TONS of "Tartar" things in the world that we have in everyday life.

Tartar (on your teeth)
Tartar sauce
Tartar cheese
Steak tartar

I'm sure you can add to that list of "tartar" things.

But one thing I didn't think of until today was Tartaric Acid.

Its used in so many things. Including concrete ๐Ÿค”(bricks?)

And its structural formula REALLY made me think of Santa. Ho ho ho!

Does this hold any significance? What are your thoughts on it?
