The price of a United Ireland??
Sinn fein have been the main party in the Dail seeking clarification of our neutrality and formalisation of the issue nationally (referendum) internationally. ie through the United nations and agreements with our neighbouring countries.
However Sf have dropped this policy. Aengous o snodig has stopped raising it.
I believe that Sf have made a deal with the government in America for financial and professional support for themselves and "their" view of the future of Ireland. Their slickness and savvy vote getting smacks of professional and expensive outside help.
The price?? 🤔
In my humble opinion I believe the price will be our neutrality. I feel we will become the uss aircraft carrier "USS Ireland"
This move will effectively make our island a satellite state of nato and america. The whole of Europe will begin to pay the Americans for our "security". Its a virtual protection racket. We start paying American for policing the world.
When they decide to attack "whomever" we are part of their force and we pay toward it.
They are delighted with the Swedish and Finnish nato applications. Both countries have a good command of English and fit and well equipped armies. Both of them are affluent and prosperous and well able to pay the Americans for their arms industry.
We can't afford the stuff but we can allow nato bases on our land and we can send them a few bullet stoppers (troupes) to get killed and save their own guys.
