Nice info as usual A!! How do ppms relate to % of atmos?? Am I right in saying, 10k ppm CO2 = 1% CO2 in atmos.. and 1k ppm O2 = 1% O2 in atmos.... or am I off the mark???

It's a little tricky as the atomic size and occupied space or density of the volume determine %. The % of air at ground level is the same as the top of Everest, but the density of air is much much less. It's about 35% of that at sea level.

Vertical 0.5 = 50% Atmos 0.1 =10% atmos.... Horizontal axis is Billions of years... Green is best low side and Red is best guess high side... Red feels right

Gotcha - makes sense - so time to apply a bit of common sense to make sense... so might as well harmonise the globe!! to a really really flat flat earth!! with no hills!!! Thus the q for me to make any sense of data is: is CO2 ppm div 10000 to get % atmos at ground level, and Is O2 ppm div 1000 to get % O2 atmos... Anyone have an idea??
