The Government have tried to make this as complicated as possible so that the average person cannot fully understand the change they wish to make. If they wanted people to understand the upcoming changes that they are proposing to the Constitution, they would set the changes out as simply and clearly as @TraceyOMahony81 has done in this presentation.

While here in Ireland, they are trying to outlaw peaceful assembly outside abortion clinics and legalise all illegal abortions (which would in effect mean that if someone carried out an abortion anytime prior to the baby being being, there would be no criminal sanction - and this would have the effect of legalizing abortion up to birth).

We are living through incredibly sick times, where Mothers have been convinced that having the legal right to kill their own children is moral, justified, and shows strength.

A mother on Cork's Red FM explaining that the article on mothers in the constitution now framed by the government and the NGOs on their payroll as a sexist relic of the bad old days of Catholic Ireland, was in reality inserted to protect mothers from being compelled to engage in wage slavery to the detriment of their children's wellbeing.

Confirmation from the Attorney General (via The Ditch) that the proposed referendum change to the definition of family will give greater weight to non-marital rights in immigration cases.
