The Kilnasaggart Stone, dating to around 700 AD, is considered the oldest dateable Christian stone monument in Ireland, marked with crosses and a Latin inscription.
It stands near Jonesborough in County Armagh, on an ancient road that ran from Tara in County Meath to Dunseverick Head on the North Antrim Coast.
The stone, possibly a remnant of an ancient monastery or other structure, is thought to mark the location of a holy site, perhaps dating back to the days of druid and pagan worship.

The so-called Croagh Patrick stone (although it has also been suggested that it may represent Croghaun in the Ox Mountains) within the chamber of Cairn K at Carrowkeel. When the chamber was being constructed, before the corbeled roof was added, Croagh Patrick was visible from this position, 75 kilometers to the west.
