Some images from Robert Alexander Stewart Macalister's excavations at Knowth in 1943. This was the first indication of the scale of the kerbstone boundary and associated neolithic art at Knowth. A previous indication of neolithic art was noted by Thomas Molyneux who published an illustration of a carved bowl or basin which he found at Knowth.

I received the following confirmation today from the Citizens Information office, they have updated all their election pages accordingly, "The Franchise Section in the Department of Housing has confirmed that you can write “1” or “one”, etc, and that you don’t have to use the pencils provided at polling stations to vote." If you look under 'casting your vote' here, https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/government-in-ireland/elections-and-referenda/voting/voting-procedure-in-a-general-election/ you'll see the changes.
