There were no irish kings until boru c990AD - first deise invader by conquest to wear the fake "5 irish crowns of cuige (provinces)" and claim divine right (he wore the emblems of Judah/jesus and daniel - 3 lions and a harp/lyre) , and his ancestors gave 3 of the crowns to vatican (triple crown) .... Society in ireland was a bottom up approach (the ri and ard ri are servants of the people) since the last age of aquarius, until boru.. He brought in a tyranical top down approach .. where the king is boss... The concept of divine right and kingship never held sway in ireland, even to this day ... The gael had a local Ri - chief... and an Ard Ri - high chief... Much similar to the galls (french) with their Roi... The Ri's and Ard Ri's were elected for no more than 3 years + 1 day, and had to have achieved a feat of honour to be granted the right to get votes.. The saxon copied some of the irish system and out of Ri/Roi came roYal (with divine right) ... Divine right and top down approach was removed in all the magna chartas, by the BARon hidden hand in 1215... much similar to today ... but very few are aware that all the magna chartas did, was hand the top down oppressive approach of divine right, from the king to the barons... the barons run the world inc the world of land, for the benifet of the chief baron (begins with an R!), and his pack of hidden merry men - the land you "own" is baronial land thus you are a free holding tenant - in Britan, Ireland, US, Austrailia etc - anywhere the kings inn ran a registry of deeds system or the torrens system ... The simplest way to beat their system, is to fly your own sovereign colours/arms, over your properties - and beat them in the law of colours/flags ... a flag is the only instrument they are all trained to respect...

This might explain tainstry .... and the ways of the gael... and why the kings inn and registry of deeds still could not make ground in their tenant (land) reform in ireland, up to H8 and QE1 and beyond

It was said of many lakes in Ireland that they were the graves dug of ancient heroes from which the water burst from the land itself, the so called tomhaidhm. It was said only 3 bodies of water existed when the people of Partholรณn came to the island, before the Tuatha Dรฉ and the Sons of Mil settled here.

The blood of our people has watered the soil of this island since before time was recorded, our identity and way of thinking was created to fit perfectly into the contours of Ireland's lakes and valleys and glens.

Take time when the weather is fine to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and to appreciate the land we guard for our children's children.

The Ludovisi Gaul is an ancient Roman statue depicting a Gaulish man or Galatian Celt plunging a sword into his breast in an attempt to commit suicide as he holds up the dying body of his wife who he has just killed he looks away ashamed of his defeat. The statue is a Roman copy of the early second century AD, of a Greek original, ca 230-20 BC. The original bronzes may have been commissioned by Attalus I to celebrate his victory over the Galatian Celts or Gaulish People.

Artistic reconstruction of The Black Pigโ€™s Dyke (Irish: Claรญ na Muice Duibhe), a large system of bank and ditch barriers built across the northern part of Ireland; illustration by Phillip Armstrong. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

These enigmatic earthworks were built across several stretches of land, with large gaps existing in between; the largest section (10.3 km) is located in county Longford. Most of the radiocarbon samples have yielded dates of 390-370 B.C. The purpose of these structures is not well understood; perhaps the most plausible theory is that they were defensive earthworks meant to hamper the movement of marauding armies and cattle rustlers. The large gaps in between each section may be explainable as forested and boggy areas where manmade defences were thought unnecessary. The discontinuous line of earthworks seems to loosely correspond to the borders of the ancient province of Ulster. This would seem to corroborate the accounts of Irish literature (i.e. the โ€œUlster Cycleโ€), which described continuous warfare between the peoples Ulster and the neighboring provinces, particularly the Connachta.
