The Vikings and County Louth
Archaeologist Eamonn P. Kelly presents a lecture titled The Vikings and Co Louth in which he looks at the nature of Viking activity in Louth and discusses the strategic importance of Louth for the Vikings in the context of their activities around Ireland and Britain.
Eamonn โNedโ Kelly is a professional archaeologist and historian who worked for the National Museum of Ireland and served as Keeper of Irish Antiquities from 1992 until his retirement in 2014. He has published extensively on a wide range of Irish archaeological topics, including the Viking influence on Irish culture, and was one of the leads for the archaeological investigations at Linn Duachaill.
This lecture was recorded during an online presentation on 2 March 2023 for the County Louth Archaeological and Historical Society.

Surprisingly good, to the point article on how Ireland's voting system works.
Reason I mention it is there have been people posting about deregistering your vote.
This wouldn't work, as the number to get a seat based around the quota is calculated by the number of people who vote.
So what would happen if you were to deregister is that the quota would shrink and nothing would change as the more faithful party members would just vote anyway.
