Instead of having a system that allows corrupt politicians to accept an uncapped number of refugees or economic migrants...
We should have a concrete number that the State is willing to provide for. That number should be low (1,000 per year maybe) so as not to be a financial burden on the taxpayer, or change the demographics and culture.
After that number has reached its limit, let the big mouth do-gooders open up their homes and sponsor a foreigner without any taxpayer aid.
And all refugees should be repatriated at the earliest possible opportunity.
I think that's fair personally. Some may disagree, and I welcome hearing your own views on the topic.
