No Jewish child should have to choose between their education and their Jewish identity.

StandWithUs joins the ADL, American Jewish Committee, Jewish Federations of North America, and the Conference of Presidents to launch the Jewish Students' Bill of Rights - a six-point plan calling on schools across North America to combat antisemitism and protect Jewish students.

The plan calls on schools to train educators to recognize antisemitism, establish clear reporting systems, ensure accurate teaching about Jewish history and Israel, protect students who express their Jewish identity, and present contested issues in a balanced way.

"Far too many Jewish students carry the weight of educating others and defending their community against bias and bigotry in K-12 schools," said StandWithUs co-founder and CEO @RozRothstein . "It is time for the adults in the room to meet this moment with courage and moral clarity."

ACTION ALERT: Drop Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s LOOP Tour
https://t.co/rbU9JYPaFV

A concert should be a place where every fan feels welcome. At MetLife Stadium, that trust was broken. Fill out the form to urge Ed Sheeran and LOOP Tour Leadership to remove Macklemore from every remaining tour date.

Speaking of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) as a time of (re)birth: Avigail and Ariel have been identified as the most common Jewish baby names in Israel ahead of the holiday season, while Mohammed and Avigail are the most common baby names in Israel overall. Happy Rosh Hashanah to all those celebrating! 🍎🍯

On the eve of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2,977 drones illuminated the skies over New York Harbor - one light for every soul lost that day.

Together, they rose and assembled into the outline of the Twin Towers at full architectural scale, visible from across the city. The tribute was developed alongside family members, survivors, and first responders - the people who carry the weight of that day in their hearts every moment of every year.

Twenty-five years later, we remember every name. We mourn every family. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🕯️

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch on the 25th anniversary of 9/11:

"The men who attacked this city were terrorists. The men and women who ran into the towers to save innocent lives were heroes. 25 years cannot be allowed to blur that distinction - and shame on those who do."

Never forget. 🇺🇸🕯️

RT @michaeldickson: The first victim of 9/11 was Danny Lewin. Born in Denver, raised in Jerusalem. Captain in Sayeret Matkal. Mathematician. Co-founder of Akamai - the company that still carries a huge share of the internet.

On the morning of September 11, 2001 he boarded American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles and sat in seat 9B.
Directly in front of him: Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz al-Omari.

Directly behind him: Satam al-Suqami.
When the hijackers rose and moved toward the cockpit, Lewin - 31 years old, elite IDF officer - stood up to stop them.

Al-Suqami slit his throat from behind.
Flight attendants Betty Ong and Amy Sweeney radioed that a passenger in 9B had been stabbed and appeared dead. The 9/11 Commission later concluded he was almost certainly the first person murdered that day.

Twenty-five minutes later Flight 11 hit the North Tower.

He left a wife and two young sons.
Israel is the only country outside the United States with a 9/11 memorial that lists every victim by name, built from Ground Zero steel. Danny Lewin’s name is on it.

May his memory be a blessing.
