More than 10 million people worldwide suffer from inflammatory bowel disease - conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis that cause chronic inflammation, pain, and in severe cases, hospitalization or surgery. Most current treatments target the immune system. But what if that's been addressing the wrong thing entirely?
Researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel have discovered that the tissue surrounding intestinal cells - not just the immune system - retains a lasting "memory" of past inflammation, and can trigger the disease to return even after patients appear to have recovered. Crucially, the team identified a specific protein called collagen 18 as a key driver of this process - and found that blocking it in mice prevented chronic inflammation from developing.

Among the more than 1,000 victims of the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre in southern Israel was Dan Ariel (22), a beloved son and brother.
Dan was attending the Nova Festival with his friends in southern Israel when the attack began.
As the horrific Hamas massacre unfolded, Dan and his friends left the festival and took refuge in a roadside shelter.
Hamas terrorists soon began hurling grenades into the shelter, wounding Dan. Later, additional terrorists arrived and opened fire on those inside, brutally murdering him.
This is only one of countless heart-shattering stories from Hamas’ massacre.
We must not let the world forget.💔

This video shows the pivotal moment in which hundreds of Jewish children left Prague for Britain on a flight organized by the Barbican Mission, part of the same mission in which Sir Nicholas Winton, the 'British Schindler', took part.
We honor the bravery of those who selflessly risked their lives to rescue Jewish individuals. 🔯

As Jewish students headed back to campuses across North America and around the world amid a surge in antisemitism, a 98-year-old Holocaust survivor has a message for them - and it is one of pride, not fear.
Nate Leipciger, who was 15 years old when the Nazis deported him from the ghetto to Auschwitz-Birkenau - where he was separated from his mother and sister, whom he never saw again - has written a personal letter being distributed to hundreds of thousands of Jewish students worldwide through the International March of the Living.
The letter was distributed on September 1 - the anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Leipciger has participated in the March of the Living 22 times, more than any other Holocaust survivor from the Diaspora - and at 98, he walked from Auschwitz to Birkenau this past April for the 22nd time.

They Tried to Punish Jews for Calling Out Antisemitism. Federal Court Said No.
A federal court has thrown out Khorashi v. Beer, a lawsuit against a Jewish couple for linking to a Miami attorney's public law-firm profile under a post flagging her anti-Israel content. The attorney, represented by CAIR (Council On American-Islamic Relations) sued them for defamation, tortious interference, and conspiracy. Every claim is now dismissed, for good. StandWithUs Saidoff Law Senior Litigation Counsel Jaclyn S. Clark, who represented the couple, breaks down the ruling and the pattern behind it: lawsuits like this one are not built to win. They are built to make speaking up about antisemitism expensive enough that Jews go quiet.

🚨 The U.S. Justice Department struck a significant blow against Hamas's terror financing network. Across court-authorized operations spanning 2025 and 2026, the FBI confiscated more than $560,000 in cryptocurrency. The funds came from Hamas supporters directed via encrypted platforms to a dedicated fundraising site using constantly changing cryptocurrency addresses.
The FBI also seized the domains and servers controlling the online hub used for raising money. Through this, investigators identified thousands of individuals who reached out to Hamas online in order to donate, a trove of leads that will fuel ongoing counterterrorism work.
"A message to Hamas: We will stop your fundraising for terror," - Jeanine Ferris Pirro, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia
