Or Levy, who survived 491 days in Hamas captivity after being kidnapped from southern Israel on October 7, 2023, recalls how American-Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin gave him strength and helped him endure the unimaginable while they were held together in Gaza. Levy shared the powerful memory during a 60 Minutes interview aired in April 2026.

On August 31, 2024, the IDF located the bodies of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi (24), Almog Sarusi (27), Ori Danino (25), Carmel Gat (40), and Alexander Lobanov (33), who had been brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists in a tunnel in Gaza. May their memories forever be a blessing.

What has long been clear to anyone paying attention is now being acknowledged by UN Secretary-General António Guterres himself: many UN rapporteurs are “totally out of control” in their bias against Israel.

As Nepal's death toll from devastating flash floods climbs past 360, with over 1,400 people still missing, Israel is sending help.

Medical and mental health professionals from NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief - an Israeli humanitarian organization with deep ties to Nepal - are on their way to the affected region. "We are returning to Nepal with the experience and partnerships we built with the Nepali people after the 2015 earthquake," said Gil Reines, chairman of NATAN's executive board. "Precisely at a community's moment of crisis, we are there to extend a hand, stand behind them, and walk alongside them on the path toward recovery."

Separately, a private Israeli search and rescue team from Harel 669 is also heading to Nepal to assist in the search for an Israeli hiker missing since the floods. We stand with the people of Nepal at this devastating time. 🇳🇵

What you won't see on mainstream media, but you should.

When IDF soldiers in Gaza encountered a Palestinian child who had crossed the Yellow Line into a military zone alone and approached the soldiers, they didn't reach for their weapons, they reached out to help. The troops gave him water, food, and shade, and coordinated his safe handover to UNICEF to reunite him with his family.

This is who the IDF is.

Center for Combating Antisemitism to Train Haverford Community Following Landmark Settlement

The Center for Combating Antisemitism (CCA) will provide antisemitism-awareness and recognition training to Haverford College faculty, staff and students as part of the settlement reached between the college and Jewish students who brought a lawsuit alleging that Haverford failed to adequately address antisemitism on campus. CCA’s training will go beyond raising awareness, focusing on how to recognize antisemitism, including contemporary manifestations that can be difficult to identify. “Recognizing antisemitism is the first step to defeating it,” said Peggy Shapiro, Executive Director of CCA. “But recognition is not easy. Antisemitism is a hatred that mutates as it infects. Its language changes, its disguises change, and its targets may be described in ways intended to conceal the underlying anti-Jewish animus.” Lori Lowenthal Marcus, Director of the Deborah Project, who initiated the lawsuit on behalf of “Jews at Haverford” said, “I am so impressed with CCA…they developed a finely-tuned antisemitism awareness training module for Haverford College...”

On this day 63 years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech. We honor the legacy of this great civil rights leader, who not only changed the course of American history but was also a steadfast friend of Israel. https://t.co/WTwOEcBMTU

After 12 days of relentless search and rescue operations in earthquake-devastated Cali, Colombia, Israel's "Alliance of Brothers" delegation has returned home. The team of approximately 80 rescuers, engineers, and experts led by the IDF Home Front Command located and rescued 29 missing people - and left with a remarkable declaration from Home Front Command chief Maj. Gen. Shai Klapper: "Today we can say - there are no missing people left in the city of Cali."

The 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10 killed at least 331 people, injured over 4,400, and left 240 missing nationwide. In Cali, Israel's delegation worked alongside Colombian authorities, local rescue teams, and international organizations at several major destruction sites - not only searching for survivors but also helping map and classify damaged buildings to support reconstruction efforts.

"I met a delegation imbued with a sense of mission and endless motivation to save lives," said Klapper. We stand with the people of Colombia - and are proud of every Israeli who answered the call. Even in the midst of war, Israel shows up for the world.
