If you want my opinion on left populism, I'm very fond of the anti-elitism of the ideology, but I'm skeptical of how ineffective the groups that have adopted it have been.

In these uncertain times, as we watch the great threads of the world unravel and wonder at our fates in the fraying threads, I bid you all remember:
Community and solidarity will protect you and yours, even if those that make up that community have to stay at least six feet from each other for the near future.
Uncertainty is possibility. When existing structures and systems crack and falter, rich soil reveals itself to grow what is new and beautiful.

Also wash your damn hands.
