This is a year old, I can't fact check it easily, but the US has decided that about the only disease reporting they'll do is covid deaths and inpatient hospital -- the latter of which has reached its ceiling. Deriving the broader numbers from reported deaths is tricky. I have a few friends that have had covid spread among their mostly fully vaccinated families in the past few months, not one of them are a part of the national statistics despite being sick enough to need IV.
