What are Americans producing that is so important it's worth killing millions for? Why do we need to "get back to work?"

Question: Is there anyone who associates with Solarpunk anymore who isn't a Bookchinite? The two seem pretty inescapably related.

Yes. Kropotkinite here.
Huh. I guess that lines up pretty well too.

I know very few bookchinites that actually have anything to do with aesthetic movements (solarpunk is an aesthetic), DIY, or actual farming.
This is fair, I haven't met any either. However, my opinion is somewhat skewed, as I live in a very urban environment without much farming anyway.

While I generally agree with Bookchin's ideas on most things, I definitely feel he was far too sectarian and actually find his criticisms of individualist anarchism to be rather lacking.
He definitely does a better job rebutting orthodox Marxist thought and syndicalism, yeah. I don't feel like he made a complete case for why communalism is better than other left theories.

A β€œDacha” for Everyone? Community Gardens and Food Security in Russia

Russia’s large-scale peri-urban community agriculture has proven to be a very resilient food system. In this guest post, Arthur Grimonpont investigates the phenomenon and wonders if it could be reproduced in other industrial nations, for example in France.
