Team word has come in that teachers who were stood down are expected back at work for Term 3. Word from the inside is that it has been a big shambles but the good news is that teachers can return back to work.

Unfortunately not all teachers will be reinstated back to their old jobs as contracts have been signed off but the door has opened for most teachers to go back.

Jobs are still being advertised as double jab needed but this won't be the case soon. If you're in Tassie start applying.

📣 MANDATES DROPPED CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF PARRAMATTA!

While it's still not good enough until they let ALL teachers go back at least it's a small victory and a step in the right direction.

Once they can't fill the specialist teacher roles they will retract this tyrannical policy and other dioceses will follow soon.

The pressure is mounting especially after the 'sudden' resignation of their Chief Director Greg Whitby. Remember him? Well according to inside sources he has a bit to answer for.

The rats are running and they should. Expect more School Diocese and organizations to announce the dropping of their mandates.

Department of Education still dragging their heels but at least we have a date in writing! Monday August 1st you can return to work.

Unfortunately this does not apply to staff working in specialist schools. We won't take our foot off the pedal as this is just not good enough!

My advice to staff who can return to work is to contact your former boss and see where you stand otherwise register for casual teaching at schools or start applying for jobs.

A hollow victory for some and a dissapointment for others. We feel for you and won't give up.

Can we have a show of hands or 'like' if you have returned to work after the mandates? Have you found a new career?

Most states in Australia have dropped the mandates but some organisations are still playing hardball. They simply can't admit they got it wrong and should have stood up for their workers.

Never forget all the marches, rallies, protests, phone calls, emails, and campaigning you did to get to this point. It's still not over but it's a start.
