What does ANZAC Day mean to you? What does it mean to us as a nation?

ANZAC Day is not a celebration of a public holiday, nor is it a day to glorify war.

For me personally, it's a day to reflect on the sacrifices our ANZACS and all Diggers made for our beautiful country.

We honour them by never forgetting what they gave up so that we may live in peace and harmony free from tyranny.

I think about the last 3 years and how the 'leaders' of our nation let us down and trampled on the spirit of these brave men and women who fought under the hail of bombs and bullets while beaurocrats and politicians cowered behind masks, mandates and lockdowns.

ANZACS and Diggers were there for their mates and always had their backs, but sadly, our government encouraged its citizens to turn on their mates and dob in their neighbours.

Let us never forget their fighting spirit and their mateship for each other.
