Our beloved teacher of the Recite Qur’an group, Umm Fadeelah, has returned to her Lord today.

She was among the most humble and sincere servants of Allaah, always striving to remain connected to the Qur’an. From the very first day of the Recite Qur’an class, she was with us. Even during her illness,she insisted to teach. There were times she was extremely weak, yet she would still log in to teach. Even when advised again and again to rest, she would gently insist, “Let me teach… Her love for the Book of Allaah and her sense of responsibility towards her students were truly remarkable.

Her dedication to the Deen of Allaah Ta‘ala was truly inspiring. May we be granted the sincerity and devotion to the Book of Allaah Ta‘ala that she embodied.

May Allaah Ta‘ala forgive her, have mercy on her, and grant her Jannat al-Firdaws. Aameen.
