Southwest pilots #holdtheline
Forwarded from Alex Berenson (Ray)
Pilots at Southwest appear to be sicking out in a rebellion against vaccine mandates that has crippled the airline since Friday.
"There is no edict. There is only a presumption of power, and hence no means of combating it.

Consider the implications of this method of governing. It enables one man to rule an entire country not through law but through words and wishes alone. Biden believes that he has the power to do this, wants to do it, and therefore it is done.

The power is real. The private sector at all levels is adapting. After all, it would make little sense to wait until the regulations are issued since compliance will be expected soon after. All companies will then have to scramble to fire and replace people in their talent pool. It makes sense to adapt now rather than then so the company can move ahead with doing what they are supposed to do.

This method introduces grave moral hazards to the process of governing. The courts have proven themselves disappointingly weak even to battle edicts that are written and hence can be examined and judged by standards of existing legal constraints and precedent. But there is no way to do the same with administrative orders that are merely the product of press conferences and presidential aspirations."

SWA pilots aren't the only ones walking out. FAA air traffic controllers are #holdingtheline too. Saw it reported that we're up to 2,000 Southwest flights were cancelled in the past 48 hours...

And it looks like Amtrak crews are standing up to #holdtheline too.

FDA revenue – corporate profits over patient safety

"close to 45% of [the FDA's] budget comes from these user fees that companies pay when they apply for approval of a medical device or drug.

...In 1992, in response to intense pressure, Congress passed the Prescription Drug User Fee Act. It was signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.

With the act, the FDA moved from a fully taxpayer-funded entity to one funded through tax dollars and new prescription drug user fees. Manufacturers pay these fees when submitting applications to the FDA for drug review and annual user fees based on the number of approved drugs they have on the market. However, it is a complex formula with waivers, refunds and exemptions based on the category of drugs being approved and the total number of drugs in the manufacturers portfolio."

Since this move to user fee structure, average approval time of new drugs has decreased, number of corporate applications approved has increased dramatically, and the number of drugs removed from market or "black boxed" has increased too. This conflict of interest obviously places corporate profitability behind patient safety.

Seems like this would obviously also affect whether the FDA pursues "novel" drugs to combat, say, a pandemic, vs. repurposing old drugs... the FDA likes the gravy train too!

First they came for the nurses. Then they came for the pilots. The more they come after, the more stand up. No one should have to choose between a jab and a job. #holdtheline

‼️‼️ CRITICAL HEARING THIS WEEK!
Stop NH From Accepting $27 Million In Exchange for State Sovereignty

Rather than address the people's concerns about $27 million in federal funds that are slated to spread vaccine propaganda and enhance an unconstitutional vaccine database, Gov. Chris Sununu has spent the last two weeks attacking concerned citizens as "conspiracy theorists" and spreading misinformation of his own.

The governor asked Attorney General John Formella, previously the governor's personal attorney, to draft a response to citizen concerns about the $27 million in contracts, and it is no surprise that the document backs up the governor's contentions. However, attorney generals do not determine what is lawful, and we contend in our recent public statement that his biased opinion is off-base.

So here's where we stand: At 10 a.m. on Wednesday this week, the Executive Council is likely to reconsider the $27 million in contracts at their next meeting. To be clear, these contracts will fund government propaganda to convince dissenters to change their mind, and to expand an unconstitutional government database that incorporates citizens' private vaccination data and shares it with the federal government.

We know Dave Wheeler and Joe Kenney are standing with us for medical freedom and privacy, and we know that Cinde Warmington has already publicly declared her intent to oppress us. Ted Gatsas, Janet Stevens, or both, are in a position to vote in our favor, but we need your help to alert them about how important this is to us.

Sadly, Gatsas was the councilor who reanimated the contract by calling for reconsideration of the Executive Council's vote to kill the effort, and then the Executive Council laid it on the table. It's important that Gatsas understands that numerous residents in Executive Council District 4 are very upset with him over this, and what he has done to all New Hampshire citizens by dragging out this atrocity.

⭐️⭐️ Please email or call him on his cell phone and let him know how important medical freedom and privacy and state sovereignty are to you.

👉 Ted Gatsas Mobile: 603-494-5786, email: Ted.Gatsas@nh.gov.

Janet Stevens has been parroting the governor's position concerning these contracts, but the people of Executive Council District 3 ought to let her know that she works for the people, and not for the governor. In fact, the very purpose of the Executive Council is to provide the people with a check on the governor's executive authority.

👉 Janet Stevens Mobile: 603-498-0546, email: Janet.L.Stevens@nh.gov

Even if you've already called or emailed these councilors, we believe you should do so again. They need to hear from us! We believe that this personal touch will be the best way to keep these public servants on our side.

There are two other things you can do to help us fight these contracts:

(1) Co-sign our letter to Executive Council and support our arguments against these contracts. Any signatures before 4 p.m. tomorrow will be included in our presentation to the Council.

(2) If we fail in our effort to kill the Executive Council vote, we have another chance to shut these contracts down. The Fiscal Committee will be meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 in the Legislative Office Building, Room 210-211, and will likely consider the contracts then. Our intent is to promote attendance and civil participation in the public process for this public meeting.
