*THE WINNING MENTALITY*
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” *(Philippians 4:13).*
Those who grew up in homes where their confession was at variance with the thoughts in the opening text may have had it difficult to cultivate the kind of mentality Paul exhibited. They might have grown up listening to their parents say, *“I can’t do this,”* or *“I can’t do that”*; *“there’s no money,”* or *“we don’t have enough.”* However, the Spirit’s desire for you is to cultivate the *“I can do”* mentality. That is the way I think.
Whatever God has laid for me to do, I can do it. I can do anything; I can have anything; I can! In Paul’s epistle to the Philippians, we read of his beautiful, Spirit-inspired testimony of himself. He had come to terms with the truth that the ability to do the impossible was at work in him, and that he was solely responsible for the extent to which that power in him worked.
Notice that he did not say, *“We can do all things…”,* rather, he personalized it; this was his very own testimony. He made a confession that the ability of the Spirit had been granted him to achieve supernatural exploits in life. This same Apostle, in Ephesians 3:20-21, writes, *“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”*
Practice this. You might even make many mistakes, but do not be discouraged; that does not mean anything, because you are still learning; soon enough you will perfect it. Someone might say, *“I don’t have sufficient time to achieve the things I want to do,”* no! When you practice making the *“I can do”* confession, such things will be totally eradicated from your vocabulary, and therefore, your system.
Rather than saying you don’t have time for this or that, keep your composure, knowing that the God who lives in you is the owner of time. In Joel 2:25 (MSG), He said, *“I’ll make up for the years of the locust, the great locust devastation—Locusts savage, locusts deadly, fierce locusts, locusts of doom….”* If He can restore wasted years, He can restore wasted months, wasted weeks, wasted days, wasted hours, wasted minutes, wasted seconds, and wasted moments. Hallelujah!

✍️ Prophecy is important because it edifies the church.
✍️ Open up your spirit to prophecy by reading consistent scriptures, apply your spirit as you read along, you will get to a point where you won't need to read anymore because the word of God is anointed. It will flow out from you naturally.
✍️ The reason some people don't receive answers to their prayers is because they pray wrongly.
✍️ You need to understand prayer in the context of the ministry and the mystery of Christ.
✍️ This is man's world, if you need a divine intervention in a situation you have to invite God into it in prayer.
✍️ The day you became born again, you became an heir of everything that's in Christ, but you can only access them by knowledge.
✍️ If you remain in the elementary stage of the knowledge of God, you will be limited, grow in God.
✍️ Exercise your spiritual senses onto maturity by putting the word to work.
✍️There is a skill required in the application of God's word in the doctrine of righteousness
✍️ A Christian in the babyhood stage of maturity is subject to circumstances and situations of this world.
✍️ Grow in God.

Proverb 13:22 says, *“…and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just”*; this is nice, but as a child of God, you have to transcend that level. You should live better and higher than waiting for the wealth of the sinners to be passed on to you. Realize who you are: you are the seed of Abraham! Your wealth and riches in Christ are inexhaustible.
Sinners don’t have what it takes to do the mighty and extraordinary things we do for the expansion of God’s Kingdom; and that is a fact. Therefore, it will be amiss to wait on them. Don’t count on the wealth of the sinners to come to you; you are an heir of the Sovereign, living by Kingdom principles. That is your guarantee for a life of absolute abundance.
Understand that there are blessings in the Old Testament that don’t measure up with what we have in the New Testament. We are of the New Testament, not of the Old. You are a joint-heir with Christ. Christ owns everything; He owns the world, and so do you. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, *“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.”*
Why then should you be waiting on the wealth of the sinners to be turned over to you? No; you are too big for that; rather, you and your heavenly Father—the Monarch of the Universe—have become partners to bless others, including the sinners. Shortly before He ascended, the Lord commissioned the Church to take His gospel to all men and bring them to eternal life. This is the standing order to the Church---we've all been enlisted into the ministry of reconciliation: *"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation"* (2 Corinthians 5:18). We have a divine mandate to reach out to the lost souls and bring them into the Kingdom of God.
This is something you must take very seriously this year; you must be effective in soul winning. Every month, have your target, and a clear cut plan of how you're going to effectively lead people to Christ. There's no better way to experience the excitement of Christianity and live for the Lord than to be a soul winner. So get busy for the Lord; be passionate about His work. Make soul winning your lifestyle.
You're a missionary here on earth, an ambassador for Christ, commissioned to take the message of salvation to everyone in your world; therefore, this year, more than you've ever done, get yourself occupied with evangelism and soul winning. Help someone else receive salvation; help those around you learn the Word; show them the path of life! Teach them how to live. This is your calling as a Christian.
The Bible didn't say *"God has given to the pastors and evangelists the ministry of reconciliation,"* rather it says He has given to *us*---everyone who's born again---the ministry of reconciliation. It's our call to be effective soul winners. God's highest blessings are for soul winners; *never forget that.* You want to burn and shine this year, as the Lord has said, this is the way. As you win souls, you're promoted in the spirit, and the Spirit of God increases His grace and glory upon your life to do more.
Let nothing or anyone stop you or reduce your passion for the Lord and His work this year. The Lord has given us a job, and the time is short. The Bible says the night comes when no man can work (John 9:4). So let's do the work of the Father while it is day, and the work of the Father is soul winning.

*WHO IS HE THAT OVERCOME THE WORLD?*
1John 5:4-5
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? *(KJV)*
The redemptive work of Jesus Christ was man’s victory over the world. Ignorance of who we are and what we are made of as believers causes us to keep trying in our efforts to overcome the world. John in his epistle asked a question and clearly and carefully answered without ambiguity. John says anyone who is born of God has overcome the world.
Verse 1 of the same chapter says whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God. So, our believe(faith) in the redemptive work of Christ is what brought forth (gave birth to) the believer as a child of God. John then says, the victory that overcome the world is faith. Faith in who? Faith in what? Faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Jesus overcame the world through his death, burial and resurrection and we are identified with him in this through faith.
Therefore, the faith that got you born again is the same faith that has made you an overcomer of the world. The believer is an overcomer by birth. So, as a believer, you will experience daily victory over situations of life when you arm yourself with the accurate and precise knowledge of what Christ has done and is doing through you. Faith in Christ Jesus is victory over the world.

Verse 1 of the same chapter says whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God. So, our believe(faith) in the redemptive work of Christ is what brought forth (gave birth to) the believer as a child of God. John then says, the victory that overcome the world is faith. Faith in who? Faith in what? Faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Jesus overcame the world through his death, burial and resurrection and we are identified with him in this through faith.
Therefore, the faith that got you born again is the same faith that has made you an overcomer of the world. The believer is an overcomer by birth. So, as a believer, you will experience daily victory over situations of life when you arm yourself with the accurate and precise knowledge of what Christ has done and is doing through you. Faith in Christ Jesus is victory over the world.

*LIFE BEYOND LIMITS*
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this” *(Isaiah 9:7).*
The Lord has ordained for your life to be full of His glory through Christ Jesus. There is no limit to how glorious and blissful your life should be. There is no end to your prosperity, victory, success, and advancement! Christ in you takes away the limits. The glory of God came into your life the day you were born again. Therefore, your life ought to move from one realm of glory to another and from faith to faith.
Tomorrow should be better than today, next year should be greater than this year; that is the life of the Christian! You can have the glory of God manifested in your life, your job, your finances, your family, every day in an ever-increasing measure. The path of the righteous is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). That is the description of your life. However, if your life is different from that, something is amiss.

It means you are not looking at the glory of God which is the Word of God: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
God has brought you into a life of rest, peace, and fulfillment and He expects you to operate from that position of rest. That is the gospel of Jesus Christ in a nutshell! You need to take the Word of God more seriously. When you do, you’ll never see the shadows; you’ll see only the ever-increasing glory of God in your life. This is life beyond limits!
