One of the Reddit user regained access to the wallet with 127 BTC, which was lost several years ago 😱

The author of the post under the pseudonym BitcoinHolderThankU earned bitcoins in 2011-2012 by watching videos and completing tasks, but lost the private keys to the wallet. He restored access only in December 2020.

“Over the next week, I've been figuring out how to safely and securely withdraw such a large amount of bitcoins,” wrote BitcoinHolderThankU.

He sold 127 BTC via the OTC platform at $33,439 USD per coin. The commission was 0.15%, and the net profit was $4.24 million USD. The user will invest part of the funds in the shares of companies from the S&P 500 index and continue to "live a normal life."
