JUST IN - Telegram has suspended 64 channels after requests from the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Criminal Police Office, Süddeutsche Zeitung reports.

"We keep seeing new waves of hate and threats against people and against our democracy on Telegram," says the German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser.
