I only ever played GTA 1 and GTA 2.
Didn't like the whole story stuff they spun around what should just be a joyous game where you carjack until the police shows up, murder them and go on a bloody crime spree until the National Guard is after you and you find ways to either blow up or hijack a tank.
I've never finished a single story mission in those games (just looking for phones was too annoying) but spent hours upon hours murdering cops.
