There is a place in our Nation's Capitol where silence does the speaking, where a single post is kept without pause, in heat, in cold, in storm, by sentinels who march not for applause, but for honor. Beneath that sacred stone rests not one man, nor one battle, but every warrior whose life was given in defense of liberty, yet whose name history could not record. No rank. No medals. Only a Nation's eternal promise, "you will not be forgotten."

On this Veterans Day Weekend, that promise extends to all who have ever worn the uniform, those known and unknown, those who returned home and those who rest forever on distant soil, those whose names we read aloud and those carried only in the hearts of their families.

It reminds us that the worth of a Soldier is not measured by the praise he receives, but by the sacrifice he renders. For liberty is not secured by proclamations or public display, but by those steadfast souls who laid down their own tomorrows, that their fellow citizens might yet inherit the blessings of a free and sovereign people.

As citizens of the Republic they died to defend, our duty is clear to ensure that the Nation they served remains one worthy of defending.

We gathered to celebrate the upcoming Third Annual National Veterans Parade, the first and only official National Veterans Parade in Washington, D.C., honoring the men and women who raised their right hand and swore a solemn oath to “preserve and protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

National Veteran’s Parade Foundation held a magnificent parade today along Constitution Avenue in our nation’s Capitol, Washington DC.

The parade was held in honor of our nation’s warriors. Those who have so valiantly served, sacrificed, and protected the values and freedoms America has held on to for nearly 250 years now, represent the best our nation has to offer.

What does being a Veteran of our Armed Forces mean to you?

To me, it means service, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to defend and protect our nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. To stand strong for our faith in God, to always fight for the sanctity of life, especially for all children, and to ensure the torch of freedom is never extinguished.

The biggest enemies Americans face (bar none), are NOT enemies “over there”, or enemies outside of our continguous borders…NO!

The biggest enemy we face is right here within our own government.

You cannot give grace to someone who wants to destroy our way of life. If there is no indication of accountability (and there doesn’t appear to be any), the American people who voted for the tearing apart of the so called deep state will start feeling betrayed and powerless.

We have our champion in the White House ( President Donald J. Trump ). We now need those around him to start moving at his speed and operating on his timeline. Everyday that goes by is a loss of momentum.

Without accountability, there can be no reconciliation.

There can be no true unifying of our nation. Many people feel the government (for many years) has let us down.

It was Abraham Lincoln that said;

At what point shall we expect the approach of danger?

By what means shall we fortify against it?

Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow?

Never!

All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?

I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.

As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.

I hope I am over wary; but if…the feelings of our best citizens becomes alienated from our government, we will find ourselves in trouble.

The answer is simple.

Where are the Lincoln’s of our time who would willingly speak today about the trials of our future.

Courage only becomes contagious when a leader makes the bold and fearless decision to be courageous.

Make the decision today for the good of our nation.

As a Veteran, I willingly stand shoulder to shoulder with all those believers who recognize our need to protect our American way of life.

The FBI wasn’t investigating “Russian collusion.” They were creating it.
