These are special districts and PIDs. A lot of these are critical infrastructure. Is there a chance of those being run by unelected people who may not have the best intentions. I went over these a bit in this article here. Utah is doing a bit of a dance with shadow governments and moving bonds/ finances etc. https://www.defendingutah.org/post/2023/03/06/action-utah-legislature-changing-our-government-public-private-is-illegal/ and we warned about losing control here from 2020. https://www.defendingutah.org/post/2020/04/16/hb3009-giving-tyrannical-powers-to-your-mayor/
Trafficking is happening in our own backyard and the government is behind it, they're not fighting it. This is our responsibility to shut down (nullify) unconstitutional agencies that engage in this behavior.

What can we do about child trafficking?

With our publications and research, we always like to give understandable, actionable solutions, to the real problems that we talk about.

Shut down, or extremely limit, Child Protective Services. Get CPS offices out of children's hospitals where they take children from healthy, loving homes and put them in a very risky foster care environment, where their chances of abuse and even being trafficked are astronomically increased. This is the most common method of trafficking children in America, and the profit comes from federal money that is passed around. If CPS does continue to exist, we must restore the right to a jury trial for parents to better align with the constitution.

Defending Utah has a history of sometimes taking unpopular stands. Why is that? The answer is found in our motto:

"Think right and wrong, not right and left"

Those who have been with us since the beginning no longer flinch when they're surprised at something we put out, instead they learn to ask better questions and uncover new truth.

We'll never be perfect, and we continue to learn, but you'll always find a relentless quest for the truth at Defending Utah.

A man honors God.

A man seeks self control.

A man embraces discipline.

A man works on his weaknesses.

A man daily works on developing himself.

A man seeks to overcome his fears.

A man works on his insecurities.

A man seeks to heal so that he can be more whole for others.

A man provides for his own.

A man protects what is his and those he has stewardship over.

A man seeks to lead primarily by example, never asking those whom he leads to do something that he wouldn't first do himself.

A man stands for truth.

A man stands up for what is right, and accepts the consequence that might come.

A man is a defender of the innocent.

A man is a servant leader.

A man realizes that his body is a gift from God and that he has a sacred stewardship to honor and take care of it. First, to show honor to God. Second, that he might have a healthy vessel in which to contribute to others and execute the tasks allotted to him.

A man may feel the fear, but he does it anyway. Because that is courage.

A man may feel alone, misunderstood or unappreciated at times, but he still seeks to do what is right and what must be done because that's who he is....

These are my thoughts on what I am partially and hope to fully aspire to, in time as a man. These are thoughts, feelings, principles, frameworks that I try to repeat to myself, practice (and fail, but try and try again and again) until I become and embody these things.

Here's to the eternal quest. -- unknown
