I have had a lot of questions about my posts regarding social media bill and what’s going on with it now. (There are actually two that are really concerning). They amended it but it still requires far too much identifying information from adults and children. This would make it easier for our children to be identified and trafficked.

Of course social media is terrible for children - nobody id arguing against that - but this bill would do a lot more harm in silencing free speech than good.

For HB150 - They made a substitute, which is a joke. On this line they're ->pretending<- like they're doing us a favor and "not enlarging the powers of the governor" - but because they say "EXCEPT" - They actually are enlarging the powers of the governor exactly the same as they were all along (there's no difference), they're empowering the executive branch to violate article 1 section 1 just like they were before, which means this is still a violation of the emergency powers clause, article 6 section 30.

While they were here in Salt Lake, they denied the true perspective of most US citizens and only pushed the UN's agenda.
Several local groups had registered to share their views on the sanctity of life and the importance of the family, and the UN canceled all their workshops for being "controversial" but they allowed dozens of other speakers talking about how horrible men are for society and promoting abortion and population control discussions.

This is their definition of "inclusive" societies, they exclude opinions they don't like.

The UN is claiming the power to write law for American cities, and then not even allowing US citizens at the table.

This conference claims to have written a "youth pact" for Salt Lake, that they will push as if it has legislative powers.

Adding the same regulation that big egg producers have to small egg producers. It sounds good to prevent rotten eggs from getting to consumers, but the free market already puts those kinds of people out of business. This just allows the government to come get in the business of your friendly neighborhood egg farmers. This is just more of the incremental attack on our ability to feed ourselves.

This is "micro-regionalism" and changing our form of government , happening right in front of our eyes.

Here we go. “unprecedented” move to create a new political subdivision that could assess taxes and yet not be accountable to elected officials. Remember HB 22 and HB 77. SB295 will let that happen.

Now tie in with SB20, hcr7 and hb265 and 15 min cities. These bills had to be stopped and they weren't!

This is not constitutional and it's terrifying. Every Utahn should demand this be revoked immediately!

Sb295 can still be stopped in the Senate or vetoed by the governor, but the establishment has their minds made up.
