There is currently a lot of interest in what exists beyond the Ice Walls and many people are now discovering the work of Claudio Nocelli, through his books and his animated YouTube videos. So, I decided to share a high resolution image of the map with you.
“NOS CONFUNDEN” itself is a fascinating title, as it translates to “They Confuse Us”. And that is literally what this ancient map is titled. Not “World Map,” not “Chart of the Known Lands”, just three haunting words: THEY CONFUSE US.
And when you look at the map, it makes total sense why.
It shows continents that don’t exist anymore, or were never supposed to exist in the first place. There’s Terra de Fuego, not just a fiery name at the tip of South America, but an entire subcontinental mass that stretches across the southern hemisphere. Frisland floats comfortably near Iceland like it belongs, even though it’s nowhere on our current maps. Then there’s Catigara and Regio Patalis, vast and detailed regions that modern geography pretends never existed. And dominating the heart of Eurasia is the ghost of a forgotten empire, Tartaria, bold, immense and erased.
This isn’t just a map, I believe it’s a confession!
A relic from before the Great Reset, before they flattened timelines, sank continents and buried entire civilisations under layers of mud, war and myth. You were taught that history is a straight line. But what if it loops? Fractures? Gets reset?
Ask yourself why would a cartographer name a map “Nos Confunden” unless there was something, or someone, trying to keep us lost?
This map isn’t a mistake. It’s a message.
They didn’t just erase Tartaria, they erased the whole damn world.
