Imagine, if you will, a tall glass filled with sparkling water, or perhaps champagne—whatever delights you. Now, within this effervescent dance, a tiny bubble mysteriously appears at the very bottom of the glass and begins its ascent. Along the way, it collides with others, merges with some, passes many by, yet remains ever a part of the liquid that sustains it. It is not separate, not truly distinct, but an expression of the very water itself. And then, at the peak of its journey, it bursts—and what was the bubble rejoins the whole. Only the space, the apparent form, has vanished; the essence was never apart.

Now, extend this image beyond the glass, beyond the confines of form. Imagine a boundless ocean—not of water, but of energy, infinite and uncontained, with no glass to hold it. This infinite field, radiant with intelligence and awareness, is what we call Source, or if you prefer, God. And the consciousness moving within it, the self-aware aspect of this divine energy, is what has been called Christ, the Holy Spirit, or by many other names throughout time.

Now see yourself, too, as a bubble arising within this great ocean of being. You are not apart from it, not separate in any real sense, but a temporary dance of form within the formless. Your journey through existence is much like that bubble in the glass—meeting others, merging, changing, learning. And just as the bubble never ceases to be water, so too do you never cease to be Source. You are, at all times, a perfect expression of the whole.

When the bubble bursts, what is lost? Not its essence—only the illusion of separateness, the shape it briefly took. And yet, what it has known, what it has touched, what it has experienced, all this is carried back into the infinite sea. Nothing is wasted, nothing is lost. And if the journey is not yet complete, if there is more to know, more to see, then the bubble rises again, renewed, reborn into the dance. Again and again, until at last, it understands—not merely with the mind, but with the whole of its being—that all other bubbles are but itself in different guises, that it was never truly apart. And in that moment of realization, the need to rise again disappears. The illusion of separateness dissolves, and what remains is the vast and boundless Source—perfect, whole, and at peace.

So then, the great question is not whether we shall return to Source, for we have never left. The only question is when we shall remember.
