So, yesterday the artist and title of 'the most mysterious song on the internet' was finally found. It turns out that it is a track by FEX titled 'Subways of Your Mind'.

Redditor marijn1412 discovered FEX, a band that "won a talent contest in Bremen in September of 1984," and that "their music was described as Rock with Wave and Pop influences."

The user contacted a band member listed in the article and asked if they had any old FEX material. Lo and behold, "The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet" had been found.

But, what is even cooler news: according to an email sent to marjin1412 by FEX member Michael Hรคdrich, FEX is planning on reuniting and rerecording "Subways of Your Mind."
