2 hours ago Rand Talk's hosting provider has accidentally blocked Telegram IP address (again). 😡 Now everything works properly. Don't panic if the bot doesn't respond to you. Repeat your attempt after half an hour. We'll consider changing hosting provider at some time.

Inviting your friends to Rand Talk became extremely simple. Just type @RandTalkBot at any chat and send your individual link from the menu. Such link allow you to earn bonuses for each invited user. The more bonuses you have — the faster partner's search'll be.

8th of March is an International Women's day. Today @RandTalkBot starts its fight against gender inequality. As you can see, the bot lacks women very much. We've finally found a way to disable web page preview and sound notifications during bot's self-advertisement and sending help message. Now this notifications are being sent silently. 😎

Multiple requests to relaunch the bot lead me to explain something. I stopped the bot a couple of weeks ago. I had been supporting the bot since 2015. From that time I spent huge amount of my time and money on it. The bot was deployed on commercial hosting service that cost me approximately a hundred dollars each year. Some person from our chat noticed that current value of Bitcoins on donation address has overreached 750$ TLDR: that's my own money I've mistakenly sent to myself.

Long story: I'm using Bitcoin app with "receive" feature. It displays your receiving address. The address stays the same until you receive at least one transaction to it (but I didn't know that). So at April, 2020 I've mistakenly sent some Bitcoins to myself (approx. 200$, from some currency swap service). Since then I've decided that this may be my donation to RandTalk. Also Bitcoin price has changed drastically (as always) and current wallet balance is ~862$. But guys, you're silly. If you're really interested in the bot you would support it at least with 550$. Your current donations are 0 (zero). I'm still don't have enough motivation to relaunch the bot.

I think that I'll come with some commercial idea around the RandTalk soon. Unfortunately this may mean some advertisement messages from the bot.
