We have had an amazing response to our recent mammography workshop. The attendees loved the teaching and personal attention that they got. It was a fun and interactive workshop rather than a passive webinar. You can read the testimonials on the registration page.

We were not planning to have another workshop until next year but we decided to conduct one as we got a lot of requests. This is the last mammography workshop this year and we will move on to Breast MRI and other sub-speciality workshops. This is your last chance to register at this price as next year we may have to increase the prices given the effort that goes into planning and executing these workshops.

Here is the link to register and further details: https://radiogyan.com/mammography-workshop/

-Dr Amar Udare.
Good to see that others are adopting a similar format like we have done for our workshop. Pre-Workshop cases, active learning during workshop and follow up review cases.

It would be great if all webinars move towards ACTIVE learning for attendees than one way didactic lectures.

RSNA 2020 : Recommended Lectures for Radiology Resident

Given the scale of the conference at any time there are multiple lectures going on and it is difficult to make the most of the conference unless you prioritize which lectures you should be attending. I have compiled a list of recommended lectures for radiology residents based on my past experience and the speakers in a calendar to make it easy for residents to choose which talks to attend. Being a body / MSK imager the list maybe a bit biased. The first one is as per Central Time Chicago but I have also shared those for Eastern Standard Time and Indian Standard Time too. Click the individual listing for more details and direct links to each talk.

Glad to inform you all that an article I co-authored, titled “Utility of T2-weighted MRI to Differentiate Adrenal Metastases from Lipid-Poor Adrenal Adenomas” has made to the cover page of one of the most coveted imaging journals: Radiology - Imaging Cancer!

Here are the key points:

■ Adrenal metastases have higher T2-weighted signal intensity (SI) compared with lipid-poor adrenal adenomas (P < .001).

■ Adrenal metastases have higher T2-weighted heterogeneity scores, assessed subjectively (P < .001) and quantitatively with higher T2-weighted entropy (P < .001), compared with lipid-poor adrenal adenomas.

I wanted to share and discuss all the RSNA Case of the Day over Zoom but unfortunately the RSNA does not allow that!
Will update if I hear back from them.
To answer most queries however:
* Dr Curtis does not record these sessions, so they are not available retrospectively to watch if you’re unable to make the session.
* These sessions are carried out by Dr Curtis in his own personal time and so all sessions will be on a Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm UK time unless he states otherwise, when we will then be sure to let you know in advance.

Have a good day and enjoy the teaching tonight!

John Curtis is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
