No, you're not paying money to continue this war, all the ammunition and hardware that are put in use have been built from the military budget that was approved 10 years ago. The government is not paying any money to shoot their guns and missiles. It all comes from previous years military budget. The current and next years military budget are already pre-approved a year in advance. They're gonna cut some other current military program temporarily and allocate its funding to increasing munition production or order new equipment.

All that unused munition and hardware is gonna rust in a warehouse if not used in the field anyway.
