Today on Rosh Chodesh Sivan we say a VERY special prayer!!

This special prayer was composed by the Shelah Ha-Kadosh to express the prayers of parents on behalf of their children. The Shelah said that the optimal time for parents to recite this prayer is Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan, but it may be recited anytime!

- To light a long-burning enough candle from which the Shabbat candles will be lit the next night. A Yizkor candle can be used.

- Shehecheyanu is recited after the Yom Tov Bracha for those not reciting shehecheyanu in kiddush.

- Make an Eruv Tavshilin Erev Yom Tov
