Let's talk about a current issue with MacApps. Devs start to convert almost all apps to free* with InApp purchase, which just make all thing more complex for users (searching, tracking price, etc.). Would be time you stop to do such trend and you release a paid & a free version, like you always did

A free - 2 $ app increased to 200$ and now discounted to 50$? Done! A true story by one dev recently. Obviously with InApp purchase too.

As we wrote here https://perma.cc/WT6T-K77Z too, be always careful when you update apps or you purchase from AppStore, if possible don't run auto update if you don't own a proper backup! New versions don't directly mean that the app is better compared to a previous version. Different devs release 1000 versions and the app after 3 years is always the same, or even downgraded without additional features. With our experience of 10'000+ Mac Apps installed on our Macs we can confirm you that there is a trend like this now, so it's important how you manage your apps. We already wrote some posts about that before.

Suggestion: always install free apps, even if you maybe think you don't need it. Today they are free, tomorrow they maybe cost 50 dollars! Just install it and remove it immediately, if you don't need it at the moment.
