About the nationality of the Cossacks
"...the Greeks called them the Khazars, and the Romans called them Gazars.. and at first they lived near the Meotian Lake, which is now called the Dead Sea (Azov), into which the Don River flows; these Gozars were from the tribe of Homer, the first son of Japheth, and from Homer they were formerly called Homer.
