The mother of a prisoner receives the news of her son's release.

Sa'id Izz Al-Din has been liberated after spending 21 years inside occupation prisons. His mother, who is performing Hajj in Mecca, speaks about what his release means to her.

"I am the mother of the prisoner Sa’id Izz Al-Din. He was sentenced to prison for 21 years. Thanks to Allah, he was released today. He was supposed to be released on Thursday, but thanks to Allah and by his blessing, he was released today.

By Allah’s blessing I hope that all our prisoners are liberated, and I pray that Allah answers our prayers and they all are released.

I have been waiting for 20 years for this joy. I am waiting to receive him and hug him, and all thanks to Allah. I didn’t have the luck to be there to receive him but all thanks to Allah, I pray that Allah accepts my Hajj and all thanks to Allah that [my son] is liberated."
