The Jenin of Tawalbeh, Al-Saadi, Jamil, Diaa, and Raed fought with all her might, refusing once more to be defeated. The scenes witnessed mirror the fierce Battle of Jenin of 2002 headed by commander Tawalbeh. As such, we have chosen to translate and tell the story of this heroic epic under Syrian artist Samih Shuqair's song "Waterfalls of Blood" about Jenin's historic heroism.

This battle was one that will be written in the story of Palestine's liberation. The enemy was shocked, trapped, and defeated, and the steadfast resistance proved victorious yet again. We honor the martyrs who paved the path, whose souls still linger at the entrance of the camp repelling the occupier.
Some may attempt to victimize a camp of fighters, to seem as if it emerged helpless from a battle where even the enemies admit defeat. They are wrong. Jenin teaches us that "this refugee camp will constantly give birth to wounded, prisoners, and martyrs,” how waterfalls of blood and demolished homes are turned into victory and power, and that the pain may be great but the pride is even greater. Our fighters, despite the losses, will keep fighting until liberation and return, for resistance is a continuous benefit.
The culture of resistance, taught through songs, poetry, and battle by our steadfast people—our wounded, our prisoners, our martyrs—will never cease to fill us with hope and strength, pride and honor. Our people are steadfast. Our people are powerful. Our people are capable. Regardless of framings by liberal media of powerless victims against an "invincible" enemy, history bears witness—Gaza's rocks have turned into rockets, and Jenin walks in Gaza's footsteps, becoming a daily nightmare to the occupation.
The legacy of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for liberation lives. For every martyr, every prisoner, and every wounded, we are reminded that our cause is just and that the resistance will continue, with her martyrs and prisoners and wounded, with her fighters, her bloodstained rifles, her ululating mothers celebrating martyrdom, until the homeland, watered by the blood of her children, is free.
