Demonstrators held signs reading, "Go to hell, ICRC" and "The ICRC should be ashamed of themselves as an arm of the occupation" due to the Red Cross' negligence and complicity in the slow assassination of sick prisoner Walid Daqqah by the zionist prison services. The Handala Center issued a memorandum to the ICRC, demanding their intervention to save Walid Daqqah from zionist medical negligence. The document states that the ICRC's "suspicious silence" is a "betrayal of entrusted tasks" and has reached the extent of complicity in the zionist crime. Further, it called for immediate and urgent action to deliver medical aid to Walid and to transfer him to a place where he can receive adequate healthcare.
