Tamer was one of the most prominent leaders of the Lions' Den and among its fiercest fighters. He was known to be a kind soul, kissing his mother's and father's hands every time he saw them. It is reported that he was assassinated today by an explosive device planted on his bike. On his path we shall remain.

Our people in the Mountain of Fire, our people stationed in Palestine—all of Palestine—at exactly 1:30 this morning today, the commando knight of freedom left us. The martyred hero Tamer al-Kilani is our molten lion and one of the fiercest fighters of the Lions' Den.
This came at the hands of the treacherous occupation which used a planted TNT bomb. This was done in the same way that the martyr [Osama] Jawabra as well as "AlGaddafi" [Bassem] Abu Sarya were assassinated. May Allah have mercy on them both.
This occupation does not have military honor, and it knows nothing about us. It does not study us; it only studies the ways of evil, villainy, and treachery. We in the Lions' Den swear to reveal the details of the assassination of the martyr Tamer. We promise the occupation and [Aviv] Kochavi a harsh and painful response.
We ask that our people rally around their resistance. We say to the West Bank, to every citizen that can enter Nablus, to our people in the Mountain of Fire: participate in the funeral of this hero, for by Allah, he deserves it. We invite you to bury his body today. Let his funeral be a public referendum on the Den and the resistance. We call on our people to completely mourn our hero. We will leave the issue of a strike to the competent authorities, but we say to them: we are not numbers, and the blood of our righteous martyrs is more precious than any money or a "normal" life under this occupation.
Our blood and the blood of our people flow. Today, we present to this country the best of our soldiers, advancing one Lion after another until we collectively attain victory and liberation, or martyrdom all together.
This is our covenant. And we will certainly take revenge in the form a severe and vicious reply to the evil enemy.

With the utmost determination and steadfastness, and with pride and glory, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and its military wing, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, mourns the heroic martyr and liberated prisoner, comrade fighter Tamer Kilani (Abu Yamen), 33 years old, from the Jabal Fatayer neighborhood in Nablus. He is married and the father of two children, one of whom is one and a half years old and his daughter (5 months old).
He is one of the leaders of the Lions' Den in the city of Nablus, who was martyred at dawn today, following a cowardly assassination in the Old City of Nablus.
Our commanding comrade wrote his heroics through tours and forays in the fields of struggle and confrontation in which our militant comrade was at the forefront of those resisting the occupation. Tamer was one of the fiercest resistance fighters of the Old City and a lion of the Lions of its Den.
Our hero martyr belonged to the ranks of the Popular Front early and was always at the forefront of activities and events, especially the activities of support for prisoners and confrontation with the occupation. Later, he faced arrest with tenacity and steadfastness in order to be liberated, and he became more courageous and determined to move forward in the path of struggle and resistance. The martyr is a liberated prisoner who previously spent eight years in the occupation prisons on charges of belonging to the military arm of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirms that the assassination of the resisting martyr Tamer Kilani will not succeed in stopping the revolutionary tide that our heroic comrade contributed to launching side-by-side with his brothers and resisting comrades. Rather, the response will be a thorough, further escalation of the resistance and confrontation with the occupation on all fronts and axes. An iron fist will strike all collaborators, traitors, and infiltrators.
