🇪🇭 Today marks 50 years of the Sahrawi armed struggle against Spanish colonialism. Like the Palestinian struggle, the Sahrawi struggle is an anti-colonial one that seeks to liberate land, a struggle against reactionary regimes, the comprador, and the colonizers.

In this 1979 video, PFLP Secretary-General George Habash visited Sahrawi refugee camps. He told the cheering people of the camps:

"On behalf of the Palestinian people, on behalf of the people of Wehdat and Tel Al-Zaatar refugee camps, on behalf of the Palestinian revolution, and every fighter of the PFLP, on their behalf and mine: We salute you! We salute your struggle, your heroes, and your sacrifices! We salute your faith in your just cause! I salute your heroic victories in your struggle against the Spanish colonizers and the treasonous monarchic regime in Morocco."

Habash remarked, "We have followed your heroic struggle against Spanish colonizers until you forced them to leave your homeland! Then, we followed your struggle against the reactionary powers in the Arab Morocco.

"When your struggle targeted the reactionary regime in Morocco, we paid more attention to your revolution. We felt as if you were fighting with us in the same trenches against the enemies of the Palestinian revolution.

"In the Palestinian revolution, we don't just fight against 'israel' and zionism; we fight against the Arab reactionary forces who are aligned with the zionist movement. We, in the Palestinian revolution, consider Hassan II to be our enemy, just as he is an enemy to you."

Long live the Sahrawi armed struggle! Long live internationalism! Down with colonialism and imperialism!

Two years ago today, the Palestinian resistance factions and the people that they defend emerged victorious in the battle of Saif (Sword of) Al-Quds.

An 11-day-long battle displayed the unity and force of the Palestinian resistance in all places of its presence, supported and incubated by the struggling masses. An unprecedented 4,300 rockets targeted the occupying entity as the occupied interior rose up and the West Bank was set aflame, forging an epic of steadfastness and sacrifice, proving that the unity of Palestine in all its colors and affiliations is here and now. In defense of Al-Aqsa and Palestine, the masses rose up. 284 Palestinians were martyred between Gaza and the West Bank, but the spilled blood did not stop the revolution.

The message of the united Palestinian people was carved into the rockets, knives, and stones: "If you repeat [the crime], we will return [the punishment]." Glory to the yet unsheathed sword of Al-Quds!
