The occupation is preventing the Red Cross and human rights institutions from visiting him and learning about his health condition and the conditions of his detention.

The prison administration postponed his lawyer's visit at 11-12 am. The lawyer was surprised to learn about a new deterioration in his health condition.

Muhjat Al-Quds foundation stated: “We warn of the martyrdom of the prisoner Sheikh Khader Adnan, especially after his health condition reached a very critical stage. He has become a skeleton and suffers frequent fainting. He is in agony.”

Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar:

The military wings of Palestinian factions have raised their alert level in anticipation of potential assassination operations targeting their leaders, after they had agreed among themselves that any response to such an operation would be coordinated and painful for the occupation.

The Palestinian resistance has conveyed several messages to mediators, indicating that the response to the resumption of assassination operations "will be very large, and will not be limited to the Gaza Strip, but will include both the inside and outside [foreign territories], and will be unexpected."

The response to any assassination operation will be internally coordinated among the Palestinian factions and between them and the Axis of Resistance.
Who is Khader Adnan, the imprisoned resistance leader on his 81st day of hunger strike? (1/2)

Sheikh Khader Adnan is a symbol of the resistance. He is a baker, mathematician, and a father of nine. In his 45 years, he has been arrested by the zionists or the traitorous Palestinian Authority a total of 12 times. On six occasions, he has undertaken extended hunger strikes. In fact, Khader pioneered this act of resistance in zionist prisons.

While he was not the first prisoner to go on a hunger strike, Sheikh Khader established the equation of the battle of empty stomachs in one of his first hunger strikes in 2011, bringing the issue of administrative detention (without charge or trial) to global attention and creating a tsunami of thousands of prisoners who would go on a hunger strike in the months and years after him. During this heroic 66-day hunger strike, Sheikh Khader declared from his prison cell in a filmed video: "The strike will continue! The strike will continue! The strike will continue! Until liberation, glory, and dignity." Sheikh Khader won his freedom despite facing torture, abuse, solitary confinement, and threats from the IOF during this time. The zionist entity was terrified of the movement that Sheikh Khader was creating.

In 2015, he went on hunger strike again, and the zionists threatened him with force-feeding, a technique used at Guantanamo that the IOF has used to kill Palestinian prisoners in the past. In 2018, he began yet another hunger strike before earning his freedom. Eight years of his life have been spent in zionist prisons, mostly under indefinite administrative detention.

From Bobby Sands to Samer Al-Issawi and Hisham Abu Hawwash, thousands of prisoners have utilized hunger strikes, using their bodies as weapons against their oppressors. Samer Al-Issawi carried out the longest ever hunger strike by Palestinian prisoners in 2012, reaching 166 days. Sheikh Khader inspired 2,000 prisoners to go on hunger strike for 28 days just months before, and 1,500 to strike in 2017.

Following the battle of Saif Al-Quds in May 2021, a new era of the Palestinian prisoners movement inspired by Sheikh Khader Adnan was ushered in, characterized by dozens of successful hunger strikes, such as Hisham Abu Hawwash's 141-day strike. Sheikh Khader had utilized new tactics such as a refusal to take supplements or medical checkups, inspiring others.

The terms of the equation of the battle are clear: the zionist courts are illegitimate and prisoners are held without charge or trial. Zionists insist on slow execution (assassination), in line with their founding genocidal principles, and try to draw out the hunger strikes of the steadfast prisoners as much as possible.

This year, on February 5th, zionists kidnapped the free Sheikh Khader from his home in Jenin. He announced his hunger strike from that moment as he was carried away with his head held high. Unlike his 11 other arrests, the zionists brought charges against him this time, claiming that he belonged to the "terrorist" organization PIJ. Adnan views these charges as baseless, and in 2023, as in 2012, the strike continues. This strike has been the hardest one on his body. His health has again deteriorated significantly, and resistance factions have warned of a major response in the event of his martyrdom by assassination.

Sheikh Khader is steadfast, but he requires the support of the Palestinian people and allies to earn his freedom. In the attached video video, the late martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, wanted at the time, is seen kissing Sheikh Khader's head and raising his hands in support of him, fearless in the face of the occupation that was chasing him. Khader Adnan's freedom requires global support and mobilization. It requires that supporters are unfazed by and proud of his stature as a resistance leader. #FreeThemAll
