This inter-settler violence is due to IOF soldiers trying to temporarily contain settler violence. Palestine is currently much like a powder keg, and any violence could explode the entire West Bank. It’s not that the IOF has any interest in keeping Palestinians safe long-term, but that its aggression is calculated to maximize Palestinian death and minimize backlash.

Where the IOF is methodical in its suffocation and murder of Palestinians, the settlers are rash and short-sighted. They don’t understand why the IOF wants them to stay put, they only see these soldiers as “sellouts”. Even some soldiers cannot bear this contradiction and so attack other soldiers. While both settler and soldier are genocidal, their methods in genocide are colliding.

Hezbollah pays special tribute to the courage and heroism that characterized Oday throughout the time of confrontation and his field superiority over enemy soldiers despite the wide and large-scale operation that it carried out to capture this one mujahid.

The determination of the martyr Oday Al-Tamimi expresses the strength and steadfastness of our Palestinian people and their willingness to sacrifice and redeem in defense of the land and the land's holy, sacred sites.

We believe that the martyr's blood and his luminous words constitute a beacon of light to new generations and to all the brave fighters of our heroic Palestinian people. It is a revolution and resistance that will not subside until the liberation of Palestine in its entirety from the river to the sea.

We congratulate our resistant Palestinian people, its living forces, and its fighting factions for the heroic martyr and the recent operations that confirm once again that the occupation is fleeting and that this repugnant, racist entity is nothing but a temporary entity.
