Today would have marked the 17th birthday of the fighter and martyr Ghaith Yamen, after whom fighting groups have been named after. He was martyred in Nablus on May 25th, 2022.
In his final social media post, he asked us to never forget him, and to post about him so that he is not forgotten. Today, we honor his memory and his birthday by reminding you of what Ghaith sacrificed for the sake of his homeland.
His final post is translated below:
"If I die, don't forget these things:
Don't put me in a fridge because I don't like the cold!
But if you want to bury me, choose a place with children so that I don't become lonely!
Keep my social media accounts open, and post about me every once in a while. I don't want anyone to forget me!
My bracelets that I love are under my pillow. Don't lose them!
Is it okay if you distribute a Quran for my soul and write my name on the first page?
Come visit me every day and talk to me. I will hear you!
Don't cry because I don't like to make anyone upset or make someone cry because of me!"
Glory to you, Ghaith! Glory to the martyrs! Never forget the martyrs' wills. Honor them as they are your guide to life and liberation. Heed the words of the martyrs as they tell us, "Do not abandon the gun" and "One hundred will rise after me!" #HonorTheMartyrs

Resistance fighters open fire on the colonial DCO checkpoint in #Areeha.
At the dawn prayer, thousands of Palestinains cheer outside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds: "With our souls and with our blood, we will redeem you, O Aqsa!"
"The gate to Al-Aqsa is made of copper; it doesn't open except with Hamas!"
"From Al-Quds, a salute to Musab Shtayyeh! O Musab, we are your men, brother."
"Nablus, Jenin, we are the men of the [Lions'] Den!"

After canceling the travel permits of many Christian Palestinians to keep them from reaching Al-Quds, the occupation brutally attacked Palestinian and foreign Christian worshippers trying to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to observe Holy Saturday.
On the colonial separation wall between northern occupied Palestine and Lebanon, a new mural arises today.
It includes the faces of Palestine's most heroic martyrs of the last two years, including Tamer Al-Kilani, Khairi Alqam, Dawood Al-Zubaidi, Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, Jamil Al-Amouri, Oday Al-Tamimi, and Wadie Al-Houh. These are founders and leaders of resistance groups, those who healed our hearts with their operations, strength, and determination.
On top is a line from Palestinian poet Tamim Al-Barghouthi: "O seeker of vengeance, avenge us."

The families of Palestinian martyrs from across the West Bank attended an art exhibition in the city of Nablus in honour of their martyred sons.
"Report [resistance] activity on Huwara for me" The mother of the martyr Adham Mabrouka (Al-Shishani) echoes her son's saying after seeing his picture in the exhibition.
A voice note from martyr Adham with this saying became popularized after he and his martyred comrades Ashraf Mubaslat and Mohammed Al-Dakhil would carry out shooting operations on the colonial checkpoint near Nablus.
