The funeral procession for martyr Brigadier General Nilforushan, a military advisor to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, began today, Tuesday, October 15, in Imam Hussein Square in Tehran, Iran. He was martyred on October 6 in an IOF airstrike on the southern suburb (Dahiye) of Beirut, alongside Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
A farewell ceremony for the body of martyr Nilforushan will take place on Wednesday, October 16, and the funeral and burial will be held on Thursday afternoon, October 17, in Isfahan.
Brigadier General Ismail Qaani, the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, was seen participating in the funeral, despite numerous rumors about his own martyrdom or injury.
