The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemns the massacre committed by the occupation in Tulkarem camp yesterday and the continuation of its war on Gaza, an expression of its deep crisis caused by resistance strikes.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned in a statement issued today the actions of the “israeli” occupation forces in committing a massacre yesterday in Tulkarem camp by targeting civilians with bombing by warplane, which resulted in the ascending of 20 martyrs and dozens of injuries among the residents. This is part of the ongoing targeting of the Tulkarem, Nour Shams, Jenin, and Balata camps and their resistance, as well as their popular cradle. It continues the series of crimes that have been ongoing for several years against cities, villages, and camps in the West Bank, especially in the north, perpetrated by successive fascist governments in the occupation state in their bloody pursuit to resolve the conflict with the Palestinian people and complete the annexation of the occupied West Bank.
The statement continued: The occupation’s war on the West Bank, including occupied Al-Quds, its villages, and camps, and its targeting of resistance fighters, destruction of infrastructure, and land confiscation for settlement expansion will not deter its people from continuing the struggle and resistance. This is part of the ever-reviving Palestinian people’s movement to force the occupation to leave our land and recognize our people’s right to independence, return, and their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital, no matter how long it takes or how severe the occupation’s crimes, arrogance, and tyranny become. The Palestinian people have decided on resistance, in all its available forms, as the shortest path to force the occupation to leave our land.
The statement added: The genocide war waged by the “israeli” occupation against our people in Gaza, now entering its second year, could not have been launched without the support of the United States and several Western countries, which view the victory of resistance forces in Palestine and the Arab region and the defeat of the occupation state in the ongoing battle as a setback to their project to maintain dominance over the Middle East and its resources. This weakens its functional role in protecting the interests of Western colonial powers in our region. Additionally, the disgraceful silence from official Arab entities, bordering on complicity, has emboldened the occupation state and fueled its appetite for committing further massacres against our people and the region’s populations.
The Front’s statement concluded: The intensifying crimes committed by the occupation in recent days are an expression of its deep crisis caused by resistance strikes, whether in Lebanon, where Lebanese resistance strikes have led to the death of dozens of its soldiers at the start of its ground invasion of Lebanese territory, or in Gaza, where the resistance continues to deliver painful blows to its army and equipment.
