Son of Safad, Dr. Wadie Haddad was one of the founders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and spearheaded its resistance. He was known for his intelligence as a youth. He and PFLP co-founder George Habash both earned their medical degrees in Beirut to use their knowledge for revolutionary means.
Wadie was a tactician, orchestrating massive operations that brought the world's eyes to Palestine through what was known as external operations.
Wadie understood clearly that zionism was a global phenomenon and not one restricted to the borders of Palestine. Zionism's racism seeps into military-industrial-complexes and institutions globally. Thus, Wadie was behind the enemy everywhere, igniting cells that chased the enemy all over the world.
Under his leadership, the PFLP rose as a powerful force, striking fear in the hearts of the occupiers and inspiring hope among his people with hijackings he masterminded that were carried out by Leila Khaled and others. Among his most famous operations was that of Lydd airport in 1972 and the Entebbe operation of 1976. Though his methods were unconventional at the time, they were driven by his unwavering belief in the right for Palestinians to live in dignity on liberated soil.
Haddad was martyred on this day 45 years ago after eating poisoned chocolates sent by the Mossad to East Germany. We remember him as fearless anti-imperialist revolutionary who left an indelible mark on the struggle. He stands as a beacon of hope, reminding us that the path to liberation is a relentless struggle and that we will be victorious as long as we remain behind the enemy in every place.

I refuse a deal if it is offered with Safad and excludes my house. I refuse a deal if it is offered with Safad and my house and excludes one inch from it. The prisoner Khalil Awawdeh smiles as he is sentenced to 18 months in the zionist prisons on new grounds that he smuggled a phone in his cell to talk to family.
This comes after six months of almost a dozen postponed trials by the zionist entity and after Khalil's heroic six-month-long hunger strike with which he won his freedom (in protest of his indefinite administrative detention). Khalil's freedom was also a condition of the ceasefire of the Unity of the Fields battle of August 2022.
As his date with freedom neared, the IOF invented the issue of a "smuggled terrorist phone" to keep Khalil subdued and affect him psychologically. Then, ten court delays later, the illegitimate court of the illegitimate entity cited his health condition—a result of his hunger strike—as a reason for the trial postponement.
Yet, Khalil's resolve was not broken. He smiles as yet another arbitrary sentence is delivered to him, criminalizing him for righteous resistance. We hope to see him and all of our prisoners freed soon.

This requires the fighters of our people of different affiliations to strengthen their field and struggle unity in the face of the zionist onslaught, and escalate the resistance action in all its forms against the zionist enemy. This must also be reflected in political unity within a unified political strategy to resist this aggression and defeat it.
This requires the forces of our people outside the occupied homeland, and the solidarity movements and the forces friendly to the Palestinian people to step up their pressure on the zionist enemy and its sponsors, to strengthen their activities to boycott and isolate the zionist entity, to prosecute zionist war criminals before the courts, and to raise the level of expression of clear support for the rights of our people, their liberation struggle, and the defense of their existence on their land.

🚨 Abu Jamal, the spokesman of the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades of the PFLP, reveals that the PFLP was responsible for two of the three major operations in Huwara in the last month. The PFLP previously only claimed the most recent one.
He said: "We will carry out more operations. Let the occupation do as it pleases."
In addition, Abu Jamal said, "Not a week goes by that we do not open fire or use explosive devices, but declaring our responsibility for these operations is left to the circumstances and the estimates of our comrades in the Brigades leadership," stressing that the Brigades' policy is to remain silent about its many operations in most cases unless they believe it is in the interest of the people. He added that many operations carried out by the PFLP in the West Bank and Al-Quds were sometimes announced under different names for security reasons and because they do not seek a "media show." For the Huwara operations, the PFLP felt it was strategic to announce their responsibility in order to lift spirits after a series of massacres.
Abu Jamal reiterated that the PFLP will not hesitate to announce operations when needed. PFLP took responsibility for the Ein Bubin explosive operation in 2020 that killed a settler and injured two more.
He added, "The Joint Operations Room is a historic achievement, militarily and psychologically; it is only the beginning on the path of liberation. We call for the formation of a unified Palestinian resistance front and a national liberation battle strategy."
Abu Jamal added that the resistance operations in the West Bank increased as a result of the "long, bloody, arduous, and costly efforts of the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades and our brothers in all resistance factions."
