Today, Imam Marcellus “Khalifah Ibn Rayford” Williams rose as a martyr at 6:10 pm on September 24, 2024.

Despite the staggering evidence of his innocence and the thousands of letters and messages calling for the stay in his execution, the Missouri "Supreme Court," governor Mike Parson, and the U.S. genocidal regime continued their bloodthirsty campaign and proceeded with Imam Marcellus' unjust murder.

A poet from a young age, Imam Marcellus wrote to escape his prison cell and reaffirm his unwavering trust in Allah. One such poems is titled “The Perplexing Smile of the Children of Palestine,” where he writes:

Despite the actions of the few,
And excessive retaliation,
(…)
In the face of apex arrogance,
And ethnic cleansing by any definition…
Still your laughter can be heard
And somehow you are able to smile,
O resilient Children of Palestine!

The people exalt his steadfastness and resilience, just as they exalt the steadfastness and resilience of the proud Palestinian people.

In his final written statement, Williams simply wrote, “All praise be to Allah in every situation!!!”

Freedom of our bodies, our minds, and our lands is inevitable and on the horizon.

Freedom for all political prisoners in “israeli” and U.S. prisons.
