The attack, which used explosive devices hidden in pagers and detonated in civilian areas, caused widespread injuries, particularly to the face and eyes. The mother expressed her unwavering solidarity with Gaza, vowing to stand with them despite her daughter's severe injury. She described her daughter's loss as a sacrifice for justice and implored the world to wake up to the atrocities happening in both Lebanon and Gaza. Even if they lose their eyes, she said, they will continue to see with their insight and conscience.

Sheikh Hamza Abu Al-Rab was a prominent leader of Saraya Al-Quds who ascended to martyrdom during fierce clashes in Qabatiya on December 26, 2002.
