Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah.
Allah Almighty said: "And He takes martyrs from among you."
We in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, have received with great appreciation and pride your gracious message of congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of our dear leader and fighter, Mr. Ismail Haniyeh, Abu Al-Abd, the head of the political bureau of the movement, and his companion, the fighter brother Wassim Abu Shaaban, Abu Anas. We thank you for your solidarity, blended with sincere and noble emotions, and we ask Allah Almighty to bless your efforts and protect you and your country from all harm.
Our leader, the martyr, the symbol of the nation and Palestine, Abu Al-Abd, ascends in the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, one of the most honorable battles in our Palestinian people's history, following the path of the martyr leaders. His blood, along with the blood of his sons, grandchildren, and family, joins the great sacrifices made by our people in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior, to affirm that the blood of our leaders and fighters is not more valuable than the blood of our people, and that this pure blood and the blessed convoys of martyrs will only increase our resilience and strength in confronting the Nazi zionist occupation until it is expelled and wiped off our land and sanctities, and until we establish our fully sovereign independent state, with Al-Quds as its capital.
The movement also reaffirms that it will always remain steadfast on the path of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, and that the lofty principles advocated by the martyr leader Abu Al-Abd will remain steadfast and present. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine holds the zionist occupation and the American administration fully responsible for the continuation of massacres and genocide against our Palestinian people, the latest of which were the two horrific massacres in Al-Jaouni school in Nusseirat and Khuza'a in the southern Gaza Strip.
The American administration has given free rein to the occupation forces to escalate the war of genocide against our people, exceeding all taboos, including continuing to target the tents of the displaced and shelters and the deliberate killing of even employees working for UNRWA, as happened today in the Nusseirat massacre.
International institutions are unable to exert any pressure to improve the humanitarian and health conditions in Gaza, even to their minimum limits, as they have become docile tools in the hands of the zionist-American enemy. Even the International Criminal Court, which is supposed to try zionist war criminals, has become hostage to American pressures and moods, and its decisions are slow, helpless, and paralyzed.
The Arab regimes continue to appear in a state of adaptation to this ongoing holocaust against our people, and is often a partner in the aggression. In this context, we renew our call to the Arab masses to take the initiative and pressure these regimes to change their shameful positions.
The ongoing zionist genocide war will not be able to uproot our people from their land, and will not distort their firm convictions in the inevitability of liberation, and their deep faith in resistance; and the zionist criminals and those who support them will inevitably end up in the dustbin of history.

The Hamas negotiating delegation, led by Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, met with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and Egyptian General Intelligence Minister Mr. Abbas Kamel, in the Qatari capital Doha on the morning of Wednesday, September 11, 2024. During the meeting, developments regarding the Palestinian cause and the aggression on the Gaza Strip were reviewed. The delegation affirmed the following:
- Welcoming the Egyptian-Qatari role and their efforts in the indirect negotiations to halt the aggression against our people.
